The FIA-JCB Golf Tournament
The 13th FIA – JCB Annual Golf Tournament was organized at the Faridabad Golf Club on 20th February, 2022 which was supported by JCB India Limited, as always, India’s leading manufacturer of Earthmoving Construction Equipment. The Tournament has become an annual event for which all Golf lovers keep waiting. With every passing year, the number of players keeps increasing that itself is a witness that the sport is becoming more and more popular in the Country.

During the Tournament, there were 70 participants spread over different categories. The winner of the tournament was Dr. Rahul Verma. The other winners in different categories included are as under :-

14th Edition – FIA JCB Annual Golf Tournament
India’s leading manufacturer for earthmoving and construction equipment, JCB India Ltd, continued its support to the 14th edition of the FIA-JCB golf tournament at Faridabad.
The tournament over the years has become an annual event in the industrial town of Faridabad. It attracts golfers from across the Delhi NCR Region and has been a popular tournament for the past 14 years. This year there were close to 70 players in different categories.

Speaking at the event, JCB India CEO and Managing Director, Shri Deepak Shetty said
“We are delighted to be supporting this annual golf tournament for the 14th consecutive year. The industrial town of Faridabad is one of the oldest manufacturing locations in the country and today plays a critical part in various supply chains across India and the World. The town has strong industrial roots and provides employment to lakhs of people and also has the potential to be a manufacturing hub for not only India, but the world”
He further said, “JCB started its operations in the country from Faridabad in 1979 and has since grown over the last four decades. Our headquarters and the factory, which is the world’s largest for Backhoe Loaders is located here”
JCB started its operations in India almost four decades ago and today manufactures over 60 different products in nine product categories. It embodies the vision of Aathma Nirbhar India, with made In India products being exported proudly to over 125 countries.

Shri Narendra Aggarwal, President of the Faridabad Industries Association said, “FIA is one of the oldest and the largest industry associations in the State. It works towards enabling an industrial ecosystem and also for various welfare activities around its area of operations.
FIA has around 400 members in small, medium and large categories. As a responsible industry Association we play a pivotal role to be the interface between the Industry and Government. We are also supporting the skilling initiatives for the Industry through the FIA Skill Development Centre. This facility provides industry relevant skills which lead to employment.
“It is a matter of pride for us that this tournament is now in its 14th edition, as this event gets all the stakeholders in one place, including the members of FIA.

The tournament over the years has become an annual event in the industrial town of Faridabad. It attracts golfers from across the Delhi- NCR Region and has been a popular tournament for the past 14 years. This year more than 80 players in different categories had participated.
