About Faridabad Industries Association

Faridabad Industries Association was established in 1952 by a group of enterprising industrialists. This Association has emerged as a front runner for the entrepreneurs of the Faridabad Complex. The Association plays a very constructive role by creating a bridge between the industry and the Government.

In 1965-66 the erstwhile Punjab Manufacturing Organisation was merged with Faridabad Industries Association to form a larger organization to represent the small, medium and large  scale industries in this area. Over the years, the Faridabad Industries Association is having about 500 members has become one of the most effective and credible industry association in the Northern Region. Faridabad can boast of large number of MNCs and prestigious industries, prominent among JCB India Ltd., Whirlpool of India Ltd., Goodyear India Ltd., Showa India Ltd., Tokai Imperial Rubber India Pvt. Ltd., Escorts Ltd., Lakhani Armaan Group of Industries, Indo Autotech Ltd., Sadhu Forging Ltd., KCL Limited to name a few.

Besides, helping the industry in terms of getting their views across to the Government and addressing individual company’s grievance, the Faridabad Industries Association is also involved in various Corporate Social Responsibilities like Environment, Sports, Cultural, Rural Education, Blood Donation Camp etc.

We are proud of the fact that our members continue to be empanelled in various important Committees at the State level. We have a strong members base which contributed nearly 85% of the total revenue and employment generated from this complex. Our industries, covering a total area of 6100 hectares, are employing nearly 3 lakh workers by way of direct employment and over 5 lakh workers are getting indirect employment. Over 75% of FIA members are ISO/CS/TS certified and nearly 50% are exporters. Its members export nearly 3000 crores worth of merchandise per annum.

As a responsible industry Association we play a very pivotal role to synergise all the other Associations/Chambers across Delhi-NCR to protect the interest of the industries and also project other concern/problems.

To promote the call of Sh. Narender Modi our Hon’ble Prime Minister for skill-up India. We established a Skill Development Centre in 2014 and have in the last 6 years trained over 300 apprentices. Our initiative to promote Swachh Bharat Campaign was appreciated by District Administrative and we have regularly participate in all the project undertaken by Municipal Corporation Faridabad. This involved donating cycle rickshaw for collection of garbage from colonies; providing JCB machines for cleaning and lifting of garbage. Construction of toilets in various Government Girls School etc.

As an Association we encourage and promote women empowerment, our Executive Body always includes women entrepreneurs who participate in regular discussion for running the activities of the Association.

The Young Entrepreneurs Panel primarily consisting of the second generation entrepreneurs have their roots firmly entrenched in Faridabad. This Panel also encourages Final Year Engineering Students of various Engg. Colleges located in and around of Faridabad to promote innovation by awarding suitable prizes to best Engg. Projects in the field of Mechaical, Electrical & IT streams. The Panel is continuously conducting blood donation camps and the Best Engg. Project scheme for the last 15 years.

Our Association has played yeomen role in promoting CSR in this industrial town. The most shining example is the development and maintenance of the town park under the aegis of JCB India Ltd. We have also installed a floral clock, the first of its type in the State. In addition our members are actively involved in greening of Faridabad and have adopted large chunks of land where tress have been planted and nurtured. We also have helped large nos. of Govt. School particularly girls by constructing toilets, presenting school bag and stationary items.
