Basant Panchami at FIA House a Get together event for FIA Ladies

This function was celebrated on 1st February, 2025. It started with “Maa Saraswati” Pooja. There was lot of fun, games and entertainment. 41 ladies came forward and registered for the program and 36 attended the program. The objective of building camaraderie and awareness amongst ladies about FIA was achieved.

FIA Facilitates Key Pre-Budget Consultation Meeting with Hon’ble Chief Minister at the Hotel Radisson Blu, Faridabad on 30th January, 2025

The Faridabad Industries Association (FIA) facilitated a crucial pre-budget consultation meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana. The meeting focused on gathering suggestions for the upcoming Budget 2025-26, specifically concerning the Industries & Manufacturing Sector.

The meeting saw active participation from various industry members and presidents of other industry associations. FIA, representing the interests of Faridabad’s industrial community, presented a detailed representation to the Hon’ble Chief Minister. This document outlined key suggestions and recommendations aimed at bolstering the growth and competitiveness of the industries and manufacturing sector within the state.

FIA believes that these suggestions, if implemented, will play a significant role in fostering a favorable business environment, attracting investment, and generating employment opportunities in the region.

FIA Welcomed Shri Vipul Goel, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister – 24.01.2025

FIA welcomed Shri Vipul Goel, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister on 24th January 2025 at the FIA Office. A meeting was convened to discuss the Proposal for Budget Allocations to Improve Infrastructure, Industry, and Livelihood in Faridabad and the detailed letter was also handed over to him for taking up concerns at the appropriate level.

Green is the need: FIA becomes net neutral in Energy consumption

The month of November and December every year brings pressure on NCR region where it becomes difficult to breathe and pulmonary diseases are on the increase. Faridabad Industries Association and its member have been playing pivotal role in leaving the positive impact of its actions on the environment. The Association through its Clean and Green Panel has been consistently planting trees year on year in and around their industries and common areas of the Industrial town.

Utilisation of renewal energy and reducing dependence on fossil fuel is the demand of time and various Government agencies are driving this agenda nationwide. Faridabad Industries Association has also put in its bit towards this “National Objective of Go Green”. The FIA has installed a 25 kWp Solar Power Plant at the roof top of FIA House, Bata Chowk, the association office which was inaugurated today by its Executive Committee. The plant has been supplied and installed by Tata Power Renewable Energy through Green Ice Solutions Private Limited, Faridabad. The Solar Power Plant has been supported financially by one of the FIA esteemed members Sh Harsh Gupta Joint Managing Director, Precision Stampings.

As per Dr Navdeep Chawla, Director FIA, the solar plant capacity has been so designed that it will not only reduce the present electricity bill of FIA office complex to zero but will also feed nearly 20% of its installed capacity back into the grid.

Interaction Meeting with Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT)-02.02.2024

An interaction meeting with MBOT was held on 2nd February, 2024 at the Hotel Radisson Blu, Faridabad. An MoU was also signed between FIA and MBOT. The aim of the session was to explore potential collaborations between businesses in Canada and those within our association, particularly those interested in establishing a presence in Canada or seeking strategic partnerships with Canadian firms.

Celebration of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”

Faridabad Industries Association participated in “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” which was celebrated on 12th November, 2021 at the FIA office in association with District Red Cross Society. The Chief Guest of this function was Shri Jitender Yadav, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad.

This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.

During the function a cheque of Rs. 55 Lakh was handed over to the Chief Guest Shri Jitender Yadav, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad. However, few of our members directly donated an additional amount of Rs. 17.80 lakh to Indian Red Cross Society/District Red Cross Society, Faridabad for the flood situation that took place in Uttarakhand.

We have also invited the wives of war warriors and handicapped / blind people to honor them for their sacrifices. They had been distributed Blankets by the Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad. A cultural programme was also presented by the Students of the Govt. school.

Felicitation of the “UPSC Civil Services Exams” Toppers

Faridabad Industries Association organized a ceremony presided by Shri B R Bhatia, President, FIA to commemorate Haryana’s daughters, who passed out the UPSC Civil Services Examinations and felicitate their performance.

Ms. Mehak Jain, Ms. Archita Mittal, and Ms. Aashima Goyal are meritorious girls of Faridabad city who passed “The Union Public Service Commission” examination and excelled in the name of their parents and family.

During the ceremony, Ms. Mehak Jain, Ms. Archita Mittal, and Ms. Ashima Goyal along with their parents made their gracious presence to enhance the auspiciousness of the ceremony. During his remarks at the ceremony, Shri B R Bhatia congratulated the meritorious girls and wished for a brighter future. He hoped that the girls will hold the key positions in the Indian Administrative Services, Indian police services, and other and help in the foundation of the Nation-building process.

This was followed by an interactive session with the audience present at the event about topics, routines, service time management, and much more. All the questions were answered with great enthusiasm and interest.

“Nothing is difficult, a determination is indeed” was quoted by them to achieve anything in their life. They also emphasized on the habit of reading newspaper and showed how it practically helps them during their journey of preparation.

The FIA members presented mementoes and bouquets to the topper students to honor them. Shri  Navdeep Chawla, Past President, and Chairman, CSR Panel illustrated the significant role of FIA. Shri  B R Bhatia presented a vote of thanks remarks at the closing ceremony.

Celebration of “Republic Day”

A different atmosphere of Republic Day was seen on 26 January in the premises of Faridabad Industries Association. The programme was organized in association with Dainik Jagran and named ‘” Rashtragaan, Desh ka Maan”.

Shri B R Bhatia, President of the Association, Shri Sajan Jain and Shri Sunil Gulati Past President, Shri Rishi Aggarwal, Vice President along with Shri Jasmeet Singh, General Secretary of the Association started the program by leaving colorful balloons in the sky.

Other dignitaries from the member industries, various associations, hospitals and the Bannowal fraternity were present during the event. On this occasion, Shri B R Bhatia and Shri Sunil Gulati highlighted the dignity of Republic Day and saluted the brave martyrs of the Nation.

On this “Republic Day” celebration, Shri Jasmeet Singh expressed his gratitude to all. During the programme, the talented artists of Swar Sadhana Mandir Sector 9, Faridabad, Ms. Anant Srivastava, Ms. Riya, Mr. Harshvardhan, Ms. Pavani enthralled the audience with their patriotic cultural performances prepared under the guidance of music guru Dr. Anshu Munjal.

Shri Sunil Gulati also said that it is a beautiful event to remember the immortal sons who sacrificed their lives for the pride of the country. People doing good work in the society were also felicitated during the programme.
