FIA Delegation met Sh. Nayab Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt of Haryana in Chandigarh on 31st July, 2025.
Mr. Raj Bhatia, FIA President along with Past Presidents Dr. Navdeep Chawla, Mr. S.K. Jain, and Mr. H.R. Gupta, visited Chandigarh to meet the Sh. Nayab Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, regarding the ongoing concerns related to the impact on Industries due to increased fixed charges for Electricity.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble CM gave a positive assurance for reviewing the matter again with the Industries team and Govt officials to understand the impact and possible solutions
Representatives from other associations, including CII and IMT, were also present and collectively expressed the industry’s concerns.
Mr. A Sreenivas, MD, DHBVN alongwith Director and SE, DHBVN, Faridabad held a meeting at FIA on 4th May 2025. Meeting was attended by Mr. Raj Bhatia, President FIA, Mr. GC Narang, Chairperson, Mr. Rajan Ghai, Co, Chairperson Energy & HERC Panel, Presidents and representatives of other industrial Associations of Faridabad attended the meeting. The following ten points were discussed in the meeting :
1) Underground Cabling of Industrial Feeders
2) Upgradation of HVPNL Powerhouses
3) New Power Station Requirement
4) Deployment of Mobile Repair Vans
5) Night-Time Line Repair Manpower
6) 24/7 Uninterrupted Power Supply
7) Resolution of Open Access Cases
8) Sector-Wise Prioritization
9) Increase in rates w.e.f. Apr 2025
10) Enhancement in the Maintenance budget
The DHVBN grievance redressal meeting was held at the Association Office under the Chairmanship of Shri G C Narang. This meeting helped to resolve many difficulties of the consumers/members and also promoted a good rapport between the industry and the operational staff of Power Department.
