Mammography Bus
Rotary Club of Faridabad Midtown has donated a Mammography Bus fully equipped with modern equipment for the detection of Breast Cancer to the FIA Charitable Society.
An MoU with the Rotary Club of Faridabad Midtown & FIA Charitable Society was signed and the Inauguration Ceremony was held on 28th June 2021 at FIA Office. This Bus helped us for Cancer Detection in Women & Medical Check-Up in rural areas of Faridabad and NCR. Since last year, many Mammography Camps were organized at various locations in which more than 500 Mammography and 100 X-Ray tests were conducted with the help of the Rotary Clubs.

Donation of Mask, Sanitizer & PPE Kits etc during COVID-19
FIA Charitable Society renovated the Govt. Primary & Secondary School at Thanthri Village.
In response to our request for providing dry ration to the District Administration for distribution to the flood-affected people in District Faridabad, one of our esteemed member’s M/s HPL Additives Limited came forward for this noble cause and donated an amount of Rs. 1 Lakh through HPL Foundation.
We have handed over the following dry ration to the Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad.
(a) Flour – 5 kgs (415 packets)
(b) Rice – 1 kg (415 packets)
Renovation & Maintenance of Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Village Thantari, Palwal, Haryana
The infrastructure of the school is a major factor in the overall development of the child. School is like a second home for the child, where he spends most of his time. It is important to provide a healthy and pleasant environment for the students in the school.
The Association has taken a significant initiative to renovate/maintain the Government School, Village, Thantri, Palwal under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Earlier the school buildings had major infrastructure issues such as water leaking from the roofs during monsoon season, dirty toilets, broken windows, doors, and desks in classrooms and other rooms. The overall aesthetics of the schools were poor.
All these issues were overcome by the renovation process carried out by FIA Charitable Society with the kind contribution of Mr. Harsh Gupta, Jt. Managing Director, Precision Stamping. The renovation of the school included repainting the school building, colour of classrooms and other rooms, renovating of toilets, flooring of classrooms, replacement of doors and windows, replacement of furniture, etc.
After 6 months, the overall look of the school buildings has changed. The entire campus of the school building has a new and healthy look. The school building has the same colour code for a uniform look. The toilets and classrooms of the school building have a distinct look that is liked by students as well as parents and teachers.
Installation of 5 KV solar panel and repair of 2 KV existing solar panel to ensure uninterrupted power supply
Establishment of STEM Lab- In the traditional Indian educational system, Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Engineering are taught as four separate subjects. But STEM education imparts knowledge through coherent learning which is based on real-life applications of the concepts.
STEM learning encourages students to become creative thinkers in the future. STEM education imparts this much-needed skill in the young minds of students.
A kabaddi court has also been established on the school premises, which gives the students a chance to play.
We would like to thank Mr. Harsh Gupta for his commitment to Society. The total amount spent on the renovation and maintenance of the school is Rs. 89 lakhs. We are happy to share that we are also getting positive feedback from the local community for the beautification and modification of the school.
