The event was chaired by Sh Pradeep Kumar, IAS, member Secretary, HSPCB who in his address to members suggested ways forward. Sh P Raghavendra Rao (IAS Retired), a well known name in Pollution control graced the occasion. A talk was given by Dr RN Mehta a specialist in Environment Impact Assessment. Mr Vikas Kikan informed about how agriculture waste of parali can be pelletised and torrefied to convert waste to fuel and avoid the annual activity of smoke generation due to burning of parali. Sh Sandeep Singh, RO, HSPCB Faridabad informed about the regulations of CAQM.
